Here at Birth and Baby Co, we prefer to look at birth plans as birth preferences because we know things do not always go to plan! Creating a birth preferences document is all in the preparation, but sometimes it is difficult to know where to start.
That’s why we have created a simple but comprehensive document that lists common preference options. The idea is to use this as a template for how you would structure your own document.
The document is separated into 4 mains parts:
Preference during labour/birth
Preference after birth
In case of an emergency caesarean
